Three
years ago marked the 15th anniversary of my mom's death from breast cancer.
In honor of her memory, I combined my love for triathlon and my interest
in health and wellness to create RACINGAWARENESS.org. Through racing and
the information found on this website, I raised awareness about cancer
related issues and honored my mom's memory (as well as others whose lives
were taken by cancer). Last year, I "raced" awareness about
Jill Mason, a good friend of my brother's and from whom I draw lots of

I saw while visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium (pictured above), I'm "racing"
awareness about ways to be kind to another mother, Mother Earth. Click
on the green tab for more info. I'm also creating a database of other
athletes who are racing awareness for causes. Click on the "Athletes"
tab at left for a listing. Say "hi" if you see me out at the
